Training on damage detection using acoustic emission diagnosis on wind turbine blades

Introduction:

It is necessary to detect defects on wind turbine blades in early stage in order to maintain the blade and save it from catastrophic failure and hence reduce costs.

In this training, you will get hands on experience on using data acquisition system and sensors to understand the acoustic emission technology.

The training duration is one week abd it will be in Acoustic Building at our faculty.

The training is suitable for Energy, Mechatronics and Communication students.

The training is free.
